Travel SIG is Mensa’s international SIG for travel. Our purpose is to promote travel and foster contact amongst Mensans worldwide. We publish a newsletter, VISA, six times a year. Members exchange travel information, tips and advice and debate the issues and effects of tourism; they also write in to show a well-known destination in a fresh light or to introduce members to a lesser-known part of the world. In 2007 a collection of travel writing from VISA was published in book form as Travels with Mensans with profits to Medecins Sans Frontieres.
The idea of this site is to showcase some of the articles that have previously appeared in the SIG newsletter, VISA.
